We are now up to 2.6 million illnesses and 127,000 deaths. Trump is responsible. How many of those could have been saved if he hadn’t lied to us? Traitorous pig.
How much of the population has died of Covid as a percentage?
127,000 deaths in just 3 months. On an annualized basis, that will make trump’s COVID epidemic the third highest cause of death in the US, just barely behind only heart disease and cancer. And maybe, because trump’s COVID epidemic is killing lots of those same people prematurely, it might even be the highest cause of death. 2.6 million cases with 127k deaths, is a 5% death rate so far. About 1-in-20 people who get it have died. If you apply those same numbers to the whole US population, then “herd immunity” of 70% infection means over 10 million dead in the US. Are you ready for that? In just 3 months, trump’s COVID epidemic has killed more Americans than all of WWI. It’s 18x higher than the number we have lost over nearly 20 years in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars *combined*.
Except the media was pronouncing the true infection rate was likely 10x higher than 2.6 million. This means the death rate is not 5% but it is really .05% or 1/2 of 1 percent and getting smaller every day as total cases increase and fatalities decrease. The media is now also reporting herd immunity is much lower than the popular 70% and is much more likely to be 15-20%. Given the current accepted infection % as reported by the media and backed by accepted studies and putting that on a timeline, the US will reach herd immunity in less than 2 months. Lastly, the CDC is now reporting the weekly all fatality curve is now less than what it would be in an average year. This means fewer people are dying on a weekly basis than the historical average. What was once a very severe pandemic is no longer a pandemic.
What? Post a link for any of that.
There is no link that says the pamdemic is over, so PP won't post one. PP is another RWNJ that wants to make everyone sick and has destroyed the country.
Here's a WaPo link for the 10x infection rate higher than those actually tested. https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2020/06/25/coronavirus-cases-10-times-larger/ CDC link showing fatalities are now below average https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/excess_deaths.htm
