And I even cried watching it (a couple times!) - but I still didn't care for it that much. One of the things I like about the show is the multiple story lines. They did try to have that a bit with the backstory on William, the cousin, the breakdown, etc -- but it just didn't hold my interest like jumping between characters does. I think it also solidly crossed the line into "Magical Old Black Man Sage" which is quite a trope. [/quote]
