We’re talking long dark nights of the soul. And the psalmist didn’t mean joy joy, like Pop Rocks and the Village People. He meant relief and peace, eventually.

He claims to be a Sunday school teacher but if he truly were reading The Hebrew Bible, he would have seen plenty of  support for killing babies and children.

“Now go and smite Amalek and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.’ 1 Samuel 15:3

I don’t know why people pretend the Bible is some lovefest[/quote]
