Still such a mystery to me how so many people were willing to believe that “it’s just a cold.” They had the same access to stories about overwhelmed doctors and nurses and people being proned and intubated. It wasn’t a serious virus unless it was. But they were willing to roll the die.

I say thank you. I know you’re trying to make some point about me being beholden to big pharma but the fact is that I can’t cook up my own covid vaccine, the more covid you catch the more likely it is that you’ll develop long covid and I know enough people who have gotten seriously knocked back by covid in the last year that I don’t want any of that. I get a flu shot and a covid shot and when I age into them I’ll probably get the vaccines recommended for those ages too. It’s like obeying the speed limit and paying my taxes on time. [/quote]
