I think it cuts in favor of the prosecution (ie, she wasn’t really psychotic / drug intoxicated because she “snapped out of it” to take a call). But I could see the defense arguing that this actually shows how completely insane she was… no “sane” killer would stop the murder in progress to take a phone call. Just bonkers. I feel so bad for the husband. How creepy that he spoke to his wife in the midst of her killing his kids. I have no words except horrifying. [/quote]
