BRYC keepers I have seen yell "up and in" and then punt straight down the middle... 80% of the time.
Goals conceded by BRYC in conference 16-17-19 age groups 63 in 59 games Goals conceded by Washington spirit VA in conference 15-17-19 age groups 108 in 39 games. WS have played 20 games less. Probably will end up over 200 in a season, but let's talk badly about a 14 year old gk on an anonymous site. Some disturbed people on here
The post says “BRYC keepers” which implies more than one. And, which implies that this is what the GK coach is teaching them to do. In your effort to defend your 14 year old gk, you then went on to talk badly about the performances of the children who play gk at WS. Can’t have it both ways. Maybe all of you are disturbed and need to step away from this anonymous forum for a while.
Again, someone came on here and stated that BOTH WS 04 goalkeepers would START on ANY team in the area. That is delusional. No other way around it. For sure, VDA and FCV GKs have been in the training center consistently for multiple years. McLean has a very strong keeper. Arlington keeper is very good. However, if the two keepers at WS were really the two best in the area (the only way both could start at ANY other team) then why split time? Are we to believe that WS is so compelling of an offering despite the horrendous WS stats posted above for BOTH of the area’s 2 best 04 goalkeepers to share playing time? Whoever posted the original post needs to understand that comments like the one made are going to get responses. Doesn’t make the responders the delusional ones.
Just because a “delusional” adult posted something in praise of a child’s performance, doesn’t mean the child is fair game. Attack the adult who’s posting rather than trying to tear down a child on an anonymous forum. Bullying is bullying no matter how you spin it. If all of these people who are tearing down kids they, most likely, don’t even know would like to tell everyone who their child is so everyone can pile on and list all of the mistakes she’s ever made, then this thread should continue. If you’re not willing to do that, then maybe this should be the end of discussions like this.
