TO BE CLEAR:  Iran closed the strait to many countries that had absolutely nothing to do with this war.  Made it unsafe to transit, due to mines that they placed irresponsibly and lost track of.  Caused shipping interests to lose insurance coverage.  And is now trying to extort heavy tolls while having provided nothing in return other than safe passage, like the Mafia. They are waging economic warfare on countries that did nothing to them.

Iran is nothing but a smokescreen for the real objective which is US failure. Israel knows Iran has no nuclear weapons and they wouldn’t dare fight a country that does. This is about ensuring the US military is kicked out of the Middle East for good so they can take over as the hegemon in the region. It’s also about destroying the gulf states economies and governments as well.
