I have 2 kids in high school and THIS is an issue. The things my kids feel like they are "forced" to accept is not right. How is this any different than grooming? And while I would like to hear some good reasons not to vote for Sears, all the extreme Democrats who say everyone must vote Dem or they have lost their minds are crazy. Trump is not taking away anyone's right to vote. Both the Dems and Republicans are to blame for the government shutdown, the Fed was too big and filled with ineptitude (that was well know talk around DC) that you could joke about a bad employee never being fired but just re-assigned. Give me logical, rational reasons and I will listen.
Have you been paying attention at all?? if you have kids in HS you need to wake up. Trump is setting this country up to help the super wealthy and that’s it. I have no optimism for the future job market due to AI and all the company consolidation that is being allowed. Unemployment is going up. Housing costs and food costs, healthcare costs. All expensive and the current administration could care less. Very very worried for my children and all these hysterics about bathrooms in HS are so the least of our problems.
I’m worried about this, too, just like you. However, the Democrats are not helping with their policies to which they still hold on to; intentionally eliminating merit on all fronts and instead only rewarding a perceived disadvantaged background. Opening the country, schools, and colleges to limitless influx, and enrollment of foreigners (they didn’t start this, but they will double down on it), and it’s now come to a tipping point that will be put into overdrive with the AI revolution and the elimination of jobs in the millions…. the elimination of so many jobs across all fields and income levels, with even more competition for what remains.
seriously, you’re going to talk about how school boards address merit given the crisis our country is going through right now? There was job growth under Biden despite the uphill battle of inflation. The economy was headed in the right direction. The Secretary of Education often talked about how trade schools are just as important as universities. Not every high school student is destined to go to college. They address climate change and common sense gun legislation. More companies move their headquarters to blue states with the policies are more business friendly. I see all of this is positives for my kids who are in high school in middle school and will be entering the job market in a few years. I don’t even see how you can criticize Democrats knowing that the Republicans are intentionally running the economy into the ground for anyone who’s not wealthy. This is a very scary time. School policy and immigration are the very least of our worries now thanks to the Rs!!
