A scrimmage is a scrimmage, especially the first week of the season. However, Prep has more talent than anyone in the area. If they are not winning then it is clearly a coaching issue. They need to be brought together with team trust, team camaraderie, team spirit, and team communication. They need to learn to work together. Improve communication. Better plays for offense and defense. Ground balls. Clearing. Throwing/passing faster and better. Communication from coaches and among players. The coaches can’t just sit back and expect this team to know how to work together and the talent to naturally just pull off a win. It takes a team (players and coaches) working effectively together to accomplish that.
silly Prep Dad talk... the advantage your son had as a 17-year-old sophomore really starts to dissipate by the time the senior year comes around when normal-age kids catch up mentally and physically. Prep has more 19-year-old seniors on its roster than any school in the area followed by Gonzaga.
