Not really surprising.  They were probably in shock themselves or perhaps knew the 17 year old.   Maybe they assumed one of the others kids would do it. +1  You have to be a sociopath or completely immunte to violence, blood and gunshot wounds to think this is nbd and just tweet about it rather than tell an adult.

I would be shocked, disappointed and angry if my kid witnessed this and had tweeted about rather than call for help.  My god.  There is something seriously wrong with those kids who didn't report it.[/quote]
