The friendlies against Richmond ECNL were a joke.  For whatever reason, every game was a matchup of a year-older Richmond team versus a year-younger Spirit team.  Richmond U-17 ('02) beat Spirit U-16 ('03). Richmond U-16 ('03) beat Spirit U-15 ('04), and on down the line.  Is that really surprising?  Nobody is going to share the scores because they don't matter.

We were aware. We thought it was a terrible idea. I personally never posted that because it sounds so stupid. Richmond United vs PDA? Yeah, that makes sense. Versus us? Of course not.  We played them in the summer and had competitive matches fo every team except the EDP group. I'm not sure who thought it up, but I hope the results confirm that it was a terrible idea.  [/quote]
