The level of awkwardness at those events has to be extreme. When he DOES show up, it seems nobody acknowledges him at all, and the Houska clan led by Randy give him the stare down like, "Look at that moron, actually showing up for a game!" Like he just can't win!

I'm not saying he's perfect, he clearly does not like paying his child support. But money aside - and kids don't understand the almighty dollar - the kid likes to see her dad show up. I think I'd do whatever I had to do (like be friendly and civil) to make him comfortable enough to show up. It's been 7 years; the Houska clan needs to get over themselves.[/quote]
