Seems to me that most of the people holding these views self-identify as christian. I've stopped trying to change people's minds, especially the christian. In each and every case I think about the verse in 1 Samual where it says "Let the LORD be the judge between you and me." I guess we'll just see what God thinks when we're both standing before him. See, if he were walking around earth today, I think Jesus would be a rainbow flag waving, pronoun-using, immigrant champion. I think God is always going to side with inclusivity, empathy, respect, kindness, and love. Even if it doesn't fit with how you think the world should be. But like I said, we'll just see won't we. Lumping this topic with immigration is yet another ploy.  Two separate things. No human kniws what Jesus would do if he physically walked on this earth today.  The Bible is clear about marriage - one man, one woman.

You're confusing the narrative parts of the Bible with its prescriptive teachings. Jesus clearly affirmed one man , one woman for life in Matthew 19: 4-6.[/quote]
