Look.  I wish Biden had not run and that there had been a real Democratic primary.  I really thought for the longest time that he would wait until the last possible moment to bow out so that he wouldn’t be a lame duck too early.  Unfortunately that didn’t happen.  It’s not really clear to me why everyone hates him so much though.  [b]He’s such an improvement over Trump and unemployment is low, we didn’t have a recession.

The survey results in NYTimes poll are interesting. Look at this question:

"How satisfied are you with the way things are going in your life these days?"
Net Satisfied: 74%
Net Unsatisfied: 22%

I mean, that is a shocking spread. The vast majority of the country is satisfied with their lives. People are really just looking for something to complain about and [b]the media environment bombards them with negative messaging.[/b]

I think they still come home for Biden. I would be flabbergasted if 77% of country that is "satisfied" with their life dumps the incumbent. Americans just really, really like to whine. [/quote]
I think it is largely this.

That and I simply no longer trust the New York Times when it comes to sorting people. I realize that a poll is different from their “journalism” but there have been far too many examples of them interviewing “independents” and “democrats” who, upon a slight scratch, are the type of people who had their homes swathed in maga swag. 2016 showed that anything can happen and might but the media is doing double work for Trump.[/quote]
