Because "releasing the fetus" involves first carrying the fetus for 9 months, suffering through all the pain, discomfort and trauma associated with that, and then going through the pain of childbirth. But you knew that, right, unless you are 7 years old?

Let's say humankind discovers a technology that allows the transfer of fetus to any other body of any gender. I would pay money to watch the forced-birthers run for cover, slobbering incoherently, as they are asked to volunteer to support their deeply held "beliefs", to literally put their body where their rhetoric is. Want a fetus to be carried to term? "Adopt" it and grow it inside your own body, and then "release" it happily. In other words, force yourself to give birth to at least one "unborn" fetus, and then we will see how strong your so-called convictions are.
