It's amazing how many people are ok with the leak because they think it will help the left in the mid terms. If this happened 3 years ago, there would be calls for treason charges.
I haven’t seen anyone say they are ok with the leak or that it will help in the midterms. How would it help? The final decision was going to come out before the midterms anyway. But the leak softens the blow by dragging it out and making the story about the leak instead of the opinion.
No, that's what some may be hoping but that's not what the leak will do. This is huge. There are a lot of Republicans who were not aware this was coming. They are shocked. Just like independents and Democrats are.
Exactly zero Democrats are shocked. We’ve been telling you for years what the GOP was up to.
I'm an Independent and I'm shocked. DH is a Democrat and he is shocked, but I'll be sure to tell him that he's doing it wrong.
I am shocked anyone would not know this was coming. Republicans have been talking about this for years. When the Texas law was not stopped everyone said roe is done.
Welcome to the news silo. Even today fox is barely covering this story. And all of their coverage is only about where did the leak originate.
Republicans have said it, yes. But the SCOTUS judges all said Roe was settled and established to Congress during confirmation. It seems to me then that they lied and they’re all political first, law second.
Trump specifically said he was going to nominate justices who would overturn Roe. He said that over and over again. Then the GOP senators, almost all of whom are pro-life zealots, voted to confirm those nominees in lock step. Did you really think those nominees were telling the truth when every single person involved in the appointment process was promising they would get Roe overturned?
