[/quote] In my opinion, she is maturing way too quickly especially in relation to the other girls who did not have the traumatic upbringing. One day Deja's smashing windshields because she can't cope with her emotions and a couple of months later she's delivering speeches and analyzes racial dynamics in her school, while the (not so much) younger daughters still require extensive babysitting.
