It will be interesting to see how the murder charges unfold. Per the WaPo, the driver ran his car into other cars in front of him, not directly into people. So was it one of the other cars that hit Heather? Then he backed up, but why were people in the street behind him? If he had just zoomed down that street, wouldn't people have cleared the street? Just curious and going by facts reported in the WaPo this am
Link or it didn't happen. I am reading the Washington Post online, and I do not see this reported. #AlternativeFact
OMG, I hope you are not the same poster who kept questioning the Wapo article from yesterday. "A recording that went viral captured the scene: A sedan and a minivan rolled to a stop in a road packed with activists. Suddenly, a 2010 Dodge Challenger smashed into the back of the sedan, shoving tons of metal into the crowd and launching bodies through the air. The Dodge then rapidly went into reverse, hitting more people." https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/one-dead-as-car-strikes-crowds-amid-protests-of-white-nationalist-gathering-in-charlottesville-two-police-die-in-helicopter-crash/2017/08/13/3590b3ce-8021-11e7-902a-2a9f2d808496_story.html?utm_term=.e2efd0733f58 So, did the Charger hit Heather directly or one of the other cars? Why didn't the crowd move out of the street behind the charger?
These are pretty easy questions. It doesn't matter which car hit Heather. It matters which car caused Heather to be hit. The crowd behind the car didn't know he was going to reverse. Normally when you have just caused a fatal accident, you don't flee from the scene. If this is the depths of ignorance one must sink to excuse Fields from responsibility, it is obviously a very open and shut case.
Normally I'd agree with this. These were not normal circumstances. This was a very heated protest.
The point I was trying to make. Thank-you
