This is a tellingly defensive response that avoids the question.  Capital has always been a high school team.  The argument of the M&D DC boosters on this page is that they can start earlier and develop strong teams that don't need to try out for Capital, highlighting their 2029 team, which includes 9 players from another club poached before the 8th grade season.  If the argument for M&D DC has any weight, they should have strong teams being pulled together at 2030 and 2031 playing in NGLL.  But they don't...[/quote]
Again, no sane person is making that argument at all, except you presenting it.  They have one bonafide team, a new parent that took over just a year ago.  Whether younger teams get better is TBD, as 2029 was an outlier even before the newbies.

A 2031 is also in 6th grade, ffs.  Maybe the whole team is turned over, maybe only the best of them get after Capital or YJ or whomever in a couple years because there's no traction.  Maybe they all pick up field hockey.  Capital's awesome sauce, so shouldn't they just sit back and let all the talent flow to them when the time comes?  What, me worry?
