It's a little mystifying why Republicans chose this hard-drinking lightweight. I mean, there's nothing going on with this guy except "partying." There's no thought or cause or anything, except some white supremacy and misogyny. Why Republicans are rallying around a creepy frat bro with a drinking problem and numerous issues with women is beyond perplexing. I'd like to hear John Thune and Mitch McConnell make the case for Pete Hedgseth as Secretary of Defense. [/quote]

Only one person chose Hegseth and I haven't really seen much rallying from any other Republicans.  They haven't axed him yet, they are waiting for him to withdraw or be withdrawn, there's no rush and no reason for them to get involved.  It's already happening.  [/quote]
