Boy, academic and social, but not a partier ND $$$ Georgetown SFS $$$$ Bing $ Denison $ Davidson $$ Wisconsin $$ LSE $$ Politics, Econ. Maybe middle eastern studies, but possibly policy or journalism or higher ed so can’t look took narrowly. Georgetown will be full fare even when my second kid starts in two years, which seems crazy even if it’s possibly the best academically. ND would come down. The others are manageable from the jump
I think the ideal choice here would be Notre Dame followed by an MA at LSE. LSE will have the best politics/econ/ME studies program. But he'd be missing out on the American college experience if that's important. And the networking that goes with it - it's hard to beat the Notre Dame network. And it's a solid place to go to school. I don't think Georgetown is worth financial stress. Their financial aid is abysmal. And it won't open more doors than Notre Dame does. Would ignore the other schools mentioned.
