Our family does not feel kept in the dark. The entire Hardy community was invited to a DCPS Central Office zoom on the process for selecting a new principal, which was followed by this blast email:

Thank you for attending tonight’s info session about the principal selection process. I look forward to supporting Hardy through the principal selection process. Should you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out.

I guess expecting DCUM posters to understand that students and their parents are distinct people was asking too much. Middle schoolers are old enough to be directly informed by the school. As a parent, I feel well enough informed.  But I’m not the one directly affected by this, my kid is.[/quote]

hahah this parent doesn't talk to their kid about what's going on at school but is criticizing the school for not talking to their kid for them. LOL so perfect for this thread.
