The Andrea Yates case was so extreme precisely because she had suffered from it previously, was hospitalized repeatedly and warned to never have another pregnancy. The red flags were abundant that she would kill her children and Rusty should really have been prosecuted and imprisoned for the child endangering he engaged in by leaving Andrea alone with their kids.[/quote]
