Yes, and lets say (one of ) the worst case scenario happens... She pops out a kid, the guy splits after a couple years, and she has to pay (maybe) some amount of alimony. I bet she would rather blow her money (and life) this way than constantly paying out the nose *millions and millions* for her father's slate of lawyers to maintain a conservatorship that at best was problematic and worst somewhat abusive.

Also not even clear that this is the likely scenario.  Guy might be a grifter but knows a good grift--he has $$$$, a high profile, and is a "hero" while he stays, why not keep a good thing going?[/quote]
