She stayed in Japan because she was competing on the last day of gymnastics. The beam is the only event that doesn't involve spinning. It's interesting how people seem to forget that her issue impacted her ability to actually perform spins without the risk of hurting herself. If you don't know anything about gymnastics, then you are likely to make idiotic comments like you just did.[/quote]
Plus, she is the team's leader and having her to encourage and cheer on her teammates was a valuable contribution. Most athletes would know that. Stop trolling and get out and participate in a sport...then you'd understand why she stayed with her team.[/quote]
