How can it be Trump's shutdown when the democrats now control the House, as well as controlling the votes required to get to 60 in the Senate?  Chuck Schemer should be proud that his refusal to fund the Wall and defeat the Senate  MAJORITY (I thought democrats cared about majority rule?  guess not!) has resulted in a shutdown, why would he run away from it?  He's standing on principle.

It's ridiculous for  Schemer to believe that he can "out bluff" a guy like Trump.   Trump is just being Trump, the Dems claim to be the adults in the room and that Trump is having a tantrum.  O.K. then act like adults and do what is necessary to open the government--fund the  Wall.

The government will reopen probably by next week because the Dems will cave and fund the Wall.[/quote]
