I assume in a future episode it will show the aftermath of his death and funeral.  We haven't seen beyond the first few hours/day after death as far as I know.  [/quote]
At some point, Kevin said he hadn't been back to the tree since the funeral hence why it's called Jack's tree (my assumption).

Which leads me to my minor complaints about the show - 
Kevin's speech to his dad was beautiful. That started the tears for me. But...
1. He visited the tree Sunday evening. There is no way it was that light out when he called his mom. It should have been darker. Also make it look a little bit colder!
2. On the phone with his mom, he said he hadn't been at that tree since the funeral. The tree is in New Jersey. At the time of Jack's death, Jack and the family lived in Pittsburgh. They had no ties to New Jersey at that stage. One would assume Jack was buried in Pittsburgh. 
     That led me to think that when Rebecca moved to New Jersey she scattered some of his ashes around that tree. We know he was cremated but do you remember in the flashback last season where you saw the Big 3 standing around the grave? It looked like he was being buried. I guess we'll see more next episode.

My two theories on how Rebecca got money for the rest of her life. 1. Lawsuit against the hospital. Come on, they were so negligent. They  knew Jack inhaled a lot of smoke but they did nothing to treat him for smoke inhalation. Or 2. She went ahead and started Big 3 Construction. Or maybe Miguel did as a way to honor Jack and that is Miguel's money.[/quote]
