That's funny, I've found that the real screamers at BSC care far more about winning than they do developing kids.

Just because a coach is passionate and has volume does not mean that they don't promote a positive environment for their players... I've seen coaches who are "yellers" but every word that comes out of their mouth is encouragement, motivation, recognition, direction, etc. In my opinion and experience that's a stellar environment, the coach clearly cares and is passionate, and players feed off that and are just as passionate, which helps them step up their game. Let's not forget that soccer is a game of emotion and we're trying to develop soccer players, not wallflowers. As for Quan, I've heard nothing but good things about him and PWSI teams tend to be quite successful and proactive in their game. Surely he's had a hand in that success, and he knows more than some anon who clearly just dislikes him for personal reasons.[/quote]
