This is ludicrous. They won't be banned. They just won't be [b]free[/b] anymore. An IUD will set a woman back $500. If you don't have $500, are sexually active and want to ensure that you don't get pregnant - now is the time to get them.

You're not following the logic. If a state like Alabama passes a law that says life begins at conception, using the pill or an IUD in that state would be murder because it evacuates a fertlized egg.

The extra cost would be because women would have to travel to a different state to get birth control that isn't abortifacient -- a condom or diaphragm.[/quote]
