I have some friends who are getting into this and starting to sell it. I'm trying to keep an open mind on the prints (I wear Lilly Pulitzer on the semi-regular, so I'm probably not one to talk anyway ...) But what I can't wrap my mind around is the sizing. I joined a friend's group who sells it, and she posted a picture of a bigger gal, I would guess size-wise right on the border of regular and plus-size in regular mall brands, wearing the same dress in 6 different sizes, from small to 3x! The small and mediums fit her more like a longer/tunic top, but the rest of them were definitely dresses. How the hell do you know what size you would wear? There are no measurements posted anywhere that I can see, the size charts just say like, 2-4 is a small, 6-8 is a medium, etc.
Yep. And I went to a party to try some on and found that the fabrics are all wildly different. Depending on the stretch and thickness of the fabric I was anywhere from an XS to a M in the dresses. What bothers me about this is that their business model relies on purchasing through facebook without trying the clothes on. Most have a no-return policy. Very weird. I might buy a piece here or there at an in-person party but I won't buy anything through facebook. You have no idea what you'll be getting.
