*post partum *worth their weight in gold *culture emphasizes, not emulates. I can see why being a rep for an MLM is the perfect career for you!
Oh, snap. Plus "to each *their* own" Ouch.
to each (singular) his or her own. English has been looking for a non gendered singular 3rd person pronoun for years, so writers took the plural gender free plural pronouns and stick them in where singular pronouns should go. And not a chance would I buy these hideous clothes, even if the pronouns were correct.
This is what was being corrected. Read at the top of the page. I would be rude to you, but you also hate Lularoe, so there's that, and we are mocking the overly enthusiastic rep.
To each there own my friend.
Now go use your powers of grammar for good.
I am happy to join you in your hatred of lularoe and I understand the there/their correction, but I was pointing out that "their" was still incorrect as each is singular and needs singular pronouns (his, her, its) and not a plural pronoun "their.
Oh I breezed by that part. It's perfectly acceptable now and made correct by common usage in our evolving language. Unlike Lularoe leggings...perhaps? Maybe they will become commonly acceptable too!?
Yep, all languages changes and English has adopted the gender neutral plural third person as acceptable when you don't want to use gender where you would normally singular pronouns. Can't fight the change. I just thought it was one additional point from that awful post to correct. I'm not a big grammar corrector usually, but the Lularoe clothes were so ugly, I didn't want to see them further demeaned. I'm still shocked by the hideousness of the clothes.
