Beauvoir's dominant tone is not about money. There are parents there who think it should be, but thank goodness they do not rule the school. Unfortunately, there are assholes in every elite school, but the majority of parents at Beauvoir are nice, down-to-earth people and the administration and faculty are lovely. And, if you tried to buy your way in, that would be a pretty sure way to get a rejection letter. No administration wants to deal with parents who think it's all about quid pro quo. [/quote]
