We both had high salaries.  DINKs from 27-35 before we had our first kid.

He still makes a very, very high salary while I make merely a high one because I "leaned out" and chose to WAH instead of continuing up the corporate ladder.  This leaves me with flexibility to be there after school, etc. and a $165k salary instead of double-triple that.[/quote]

I didn't ask for that information, nor do I care, frankly. I was just pointing out that you were using the acronym HHI incorrectly. Does it make you feel good to randomly tell people how much money you make completely out of context. I hope you don't do that in person when you meet new people - very low status behavior.
