When I've had a bad day at work, he cheers me up and reminds me about this thing called spontaneous joy and living in the present. Every.single.day I wonder how anyone could ever give him up, how anyone could not want him? He is just all love. Sure, I have to feed and walk him and take him to the vet. He's getting older and has some health issues. But that's all nothing compared to the joy he brings to my life. I think some people just can't relate to animals or see them as individuals with personalities. To some people, they are lesser beings. I feel sorry for those people. There's definitely something they are missing in life.[/quote]
