I'm surprised that no one is talking about Sunday's episode. I found it so moving! I've never liked or felt bad for marnie but I found myself feeling bad for her. What a complete let down after what was a pretty magical and intense night. I wonder now if she will wind up hiv positive? It made me think about choices and how one moment can ruin your life forever. Not to be naive. Also made me think about money and how it can also just ruin you. I have a friend that struck gold in New York with an app and also fell into drugs and the partying lifestyle. So I guess it hit home a little.
It was a great episode. Made me miss my youth and the random way a day can take you anywhere with anyone at that age.
Had the complete opposite effect on me. So thankful to be married and settled down and of a certain age.
I missed nothing nor was I particularly thankful for anything because emotionally I didn't connect to anyone in this episode. I find the actress who plays Marnie to be sub-par and self-conscious as a performer, she is OK but I don't ever want to see an entire episode dedicated to her ever again. The guy who played Charlie was great in it. I can see why he left the show 5 years ago and really think he shouldn't have come back for this.
He's really good in Whisky Tango Foxtrot.
