[/quote] Yeah, it was definitely rude if that happened, but I don't think the point of going to the dinner is really to become good friends with these people. It's to form some relationship with and learn a bit more about her son's friends' parents. If my parents had done that for me (any my friends' parents had done that for them) it would have been a good thing for us and helped keep us out of trouble. [/quote]
