He wasn't rude at all. It would bother me too and I would say something. It's not as if he yelled and cursed at you. Don't let your dog poo on someone's property and definitely not while they're out there to see it. Wtf
Exactly. Your dog is not everyone else's problem. They don't find it adorable when you let Fido poo where ever. And yes you can prevent him from going on someone's lawn I am a dog owner too. Just not an entitled one.
Really? Prevent how?
How? Maybe you shouldn't own a dog.
No, no, you are the dog training expert here. Do tell how someone can prevent a dog from pooping when the dog has the urge. You cannot drop that kind of stupid statement and then refuse to back it up.
NP here, also a dog owner. This is REALLY EASY, pull your dog's leash and move it off the grass! OP said it was super close to the pavement, so yank your dog a few inches to avoid having it poop on someone's lawn. Or, better yet, just don't have your dog walking on someone's lawn in the first place. But really, if you're trying to suggest that the owner cannot possibly play any role whatsoever when their dog "has the urge" you are crazy.
Funny. I had a dog that would lose the urge whenever someone yanked her out of position - sometimes for half an hour. Some walks were quite unpleasant. Of course, there aren't sidewalks in my neighborhood, so they are pooping in the public domain anyway. Which we clean up.
