13:34 again. To PP - to me there is a big difference between 147 and 155. More than half a standard deviation... I personally know of a couple of high 140s kids who really fit in and are mainstream, athletically and socially (one of my kids included), but I have yet to meet a 155+ kid (know personally of a few including one of my kids) who doesn't have some sort of setback if you will.
The emotional contrast between them is what is startling never mind the half a standard.... in IQ. My nephew is like Buddha, very zen, while my DS is all over the place even on meds (for ADHD). Oy.
Hang in there, PP. One of mine is just like your DS... all over the place emotionally. It is exhausting! But I do have to say, I am never bored, and I'm guessing you're not either. :)
Thanks! :D He is not all over the place emotionally just all over the place literally. Sensory seeker and prickly about things but not mean or angry just likes things a certain way. Sigh... no, I am never bored. I get to ride the fastest elevators in the world. Something I never imagined doing... EVER  We are looking at Eaglebrook (mentioned on the jr boarding school thread) for middle school to get back on topic. My DS needs the structure and they are very structured for middle school aged boys.
