I'll be 52 in three months.  I shave most of it off and have done so for at least fifteen years, give or take.  I always shaved the bikini line and then gradually shaved more...and more. ;)

I really doubt I am the only one even if it is likely I am in the minority.

Same. I shaved off everything about 25 years ago and have continued to do so. I originally did it because I got a piercing. I used to like the way it felt during sex, but it has had other benefits as well. I don't leave pubes in the shower, on the bathroom floor, or between the sheets. When I had periods, it felt less messy and was easier to keep clean. No itching when wearing tights or panty hose.
