Stay thin, smile, take care of your appearance, etc. Be pleasant but not a push over. Men want a home life without caos and fighting. Youth is an advantage is he is older and wants children.
This is it in a nutshell. No man wants to be married to an overweight old lady so being fit, young and attractive is really all you need. The flipside is that you may get tossed aside for the younger model when the time comes so either be prepared to tolerate the affairs or ready to spend old age alone (but with money unless you were stupid and signed a prenup).
This is NOT it in a nutshell. Most women I know who are married to wealthy men met them in top grad schools. Law school, MBA, etc. Then husband's career took off. These wives, for the most part, left their high powered careers to stay home with kids. I know about 10 women like this. Successful Ivy League men do not want bimbo models. They want to marry peers who happen to be fit and beautiful too.
+100. Met mine at my Ivy law school. Now am a SAHM with a full-time nanny. Loving it!
So basically instead of finding your MRs in college you find a graduate MRs degree. got it.
I met my DH when I was at Harvard. DH earns a 7 figure income now but when we met, we were poor graduate students. I never in a million years thought I would be a SAHM. I used to earn more than DH when we were in our late 20's. After the kids came, I slowly cut down my hours and eventually decided to stay home full time.
