There are vast differences in treatment of Christians and Jews, though. Christians and Jews have to submit to their Muslim overlords and pay the appropriate taxes. Converting from Islam to Christianity or Judaism is punishable by death. There are restrictions on interfaith marriages with Christians and Jews.  And so on.
