You seem to be saying that people who live IB for good public schools OWE it to IB parents of bad schools to not take a charter spot. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm saying it's wrong, yes. The word "owe" is thrown a lot here and I'm not sure what it has to do with anything.
Who cares if you think it's wrong?!? Very few people, including council members and DCPS administrators, agree with you. I will happily continue to send my IB Janney child to our highly sought after language immersion charter. If that fact makes you angry and/or keeps you up at night...even better! There's not a damn thing that you can do about it.
You sound more and more insane the more you post. I can assure you that the only thing that keeps me up at night is the well being of my child who I made sure goes to a good IB school. I do, however, have a right to express my opinion as a citizen of DC and a tax payer and no amount of your nastiness is going to stop me from doing just that.
And you sound like someone who can't mind their own business. You're not a moral authority on this topic. Families who live IB for good schools have every right to attend any charter that admits them. You certainly have a right to express your opinion. However, in this case, your opinion doesn't matter.
Why? Because you said so? BWAHAHAHA It doesn't matter because I live IB for Janney and my child attends a very sought after charter--despite your useless opinion. Your opinion also doesn't matter to Mayor Bowser, DCPS officials, DC council members, Ward 3 parents whose children attend popular charters...should I continue? So please feel free to express your hopeless opinion...it will have absolutely NO effect. BWAHAHAHAHAHAH indeed! :D It matters as much as yours.
