I moved to DC in 2013 from PG County and park my vehicle in my backyard. I still have a car note, and I will not pay sales tax again just to convert my tags over. Get over yourselves.
Well, you're breaking the law, so I have no problem if someone turns you in for possible residency fraud and you need to explain yourself.
Ha, so true! It's not residency fraud I'm committing, you idiots, it's vehicle registration fraud!
Wow, glad to see someone post for me. But yeah, I'm not committing residency fraud dumbasses. My paystub address is to the home I own and reside in, which is in the District.
It's not residency fraud, but it is definitely still illegal. And if you drop your kid off with MD tags, and I report you for suspected residency fraud, you will have to explain yourself.
Eh, it's not criminal. The most that would happen to her is a $50.00 citation. Stop making out to be some big brouhaha because people don't readily convert their tags, if ever
Again, 100 families at the school didn't move from MD into DC and then opt not to change plates. These people live in MD, and commute their kids in. The brouhaha isn't about that, and if you ARE that family, why don't you scream that out your window when you drop off your kids along with your foul words. "Hey b----! I was parking here - oh and post=script, even though m plates are MARYLAND, I'm only committing registration fraud, not residency fraud - so suck it!!"
