You shouldn't be missing school to do catalogue modeling. If that is the best you can do at that age (real bottom of the barrel in modeling), you won't have a long career or a lucrative one. You will need your high school grades.
She went to TJ, graduated with over a 4.0, got into Stanford, got a degree even though she had at least two extended absences from college, and is now at a graduate program at U. Va. She clearly has brains and good grades. What she doesn't have yet is any clear sense of self or identity, which is why she is repeatedly manipulated by those around her, including her mother, into being whatever she thinks they want her to be, whether it's a girlfriend, potential trophy wife, or a victim. It's sad, and every helicopter parent who has enough self-awareness to recognize that they sometimes treat their own children as extensions of themselves ought to view this as a wake-up call.
Did she get into Stanford because she was from TJ, had a good GPA but also because she is white, female and had unusual ECs coming from TJ?
