Different PP here. Too much hate oozing out of every one of atheist PP's posts for this to be a happy person. Atheist PP needs to step away from the keyboard. Or, as another PP suggested, stop insulting internet strangers and DO something about child brides and the next Bush (I don't want Jeb either). That would be meaningful![/quote]
I am. I work at a non-profit with a meaningful mission. A non-profit that does work many fundamentals would have problems with.

And quit with the calling me a hateful, unhappy person. It makes zero sense based on what I've posted. Just because I don't believe in god or an afterlife doesn't mean I'm not happy. People can have opinions and a desire to express them without being miserable. And FWIW, I only joined this post about one page ago, so if somebody earlier said something that offended you, it wasn't me.[/quote]

And I stand by it, too.  Religion is a crock of shit.  FWIW, I don't think humans are superior beings.  We are flawed.  Without religion, however -  w/o this addiction to some form of control through fear - we will find the ability to self-manage.

Absolutely fine! But then you also need to own the bit about being "hateful and unhappy" because a less hateful person would have used less hateful word choices. There are several of us who think your word choices, because they are unecessarily belligerent and hateful, qualify you for the "hateful" tag yourself.[/quote]
