There are of course plenty of people in both industries that do end up with eating disorders - like Kesha recently. Often it is due to comments by their managers and others.  The pressure is insane and sad.

On the other hand, I believe if most people ate the recommended daily calories, with less junk/starch, more health outcomes and weight would improve dramatically in this country.

There is plenty of skinny shaming too - if I got a penny for all the comments on size and height, I would be close to a millionaire by now.  I've never been with anyone who had complete strangers come up and say "gee you sure are short and fat" but every one of my friends would tell you they've heard the opposite when with me.[/quote]
