The reaction isn't to perceived threat and status due to color. The huge influx of Hispanic immigrants are poor and often illiterate in their own language. The vast amount of resources needed to support them, despite their illegal status, takes resources from poor American citizens. I don't think that's fair in the least. [b]The comments about learn to speak Spanish, etcetera, prove the goal is to take and dominate, not integrate.[/b] I have been in No VA, where they harbor illegals. I have seen quality of services go down while my taxes continue to go up. Businesses that hire these illegals no longer provide good service, and don't care, since they are aware you simply can't get better. You should read some of the studies about 3rd generation Hispanic immigrants.  They're not really integrating that well, and it will probably get much worse unless we do something about the illegal immigration problem.  Unless you want to live in a country like Mexico or Honduras? In that case carry on.[/quote]
