How is it that the Egyptians find them but the self-proclaimed best fighting force in the world does not? You have your head in the sand on this one. Israel has these identified. They monitor them in the hopes of catching Hamas in the act somewhere. Claims of surprise are ridiculous. If Israelis really thought that these tunnels have been sitting there and the IDF didn't know, heads would roll. They are very critical of any security lapses or military failures.[/quote]
