Start online dating and lose weight at the same time - it's not an either/or option. Be honest about your body - post a flattering full-body pic and mark that you are curvy (or whatever euphemism they use). Be confident in yourself and accepting of where you are with your body -- that will win over a lot more guys than a super fit lady who is self conscious and not happy with where she is. I'm built a lot like you. I had no problem getting dates and meeting people online. However, you have to realize that you are going to be attractive to some guys and not to other. My advice to you is to put it into the same category as some guys prefer blondes vs. brunettes. It's not a commentary on your self worth if a guy doesn't dig you because you're bigger than what he is looking for. That's his preference and that's ok. That's about him - it's not about you. Your first criteria for anyone should be someone who wants you as you are and finds you attractive. After that, everything will fall into place. Good luck!
This! As my mom always says, "there's a lid for every pot." Just like a guy who goes for the stick-thin look, or likes a muscular woman while others find that unattractive, there are plenty of men that like heavy women. Everyone's dating pool is limited by certain factors. Keep up the WW b/c at the end of the day, it's healthier for you to be at a lower weight. My best friend is very overweight -- and her husband is a marathon runner and more into fitness as the years go by. You can find any type of match out there. And I don't care what size clothes you where or where you buy them. A guy has eyes, he's going to make a judgement based on what he sees. I do agree though, put a recent full-body picture online. No surprises. It's better for your self-esteem and will weed out the guys that aren't into your type.
Sorry but there are not unless they are also very overweight. There is a difference between a guy who does not care for a woman who is like a stick and one that is not. OP is obese and that is the reality and there are not a lot of guys who like obese women.
