Also, there are excellent schools there. Also, we are buying an apt in NYC - Manhattan - for us. Admittedly, we would not be retiring to New England but for our kid. I went to college in New England in the area we are considering for retirement and wasn't too thrilled with it when I went to college there.[/quote]
